20 Bugs That Bother Me Throughout My Day

1. When drying only 1 shirt I washed because I need it at that moment, the washer will only dry it for two minutes so the shirt never ends up drying properly. 

• This bug exists because since the dryer can feel there are not many clothes in the dryer it will assume the time it needs to dry but that time is never enough and my shirt never ends up drying properly. 

2. When the line for Pollo Tropical at Reitz Union during lunchtime gets so long and so slow. 

• This bug exists because there is only one line and one employee taking orders and it is so busy because it is convenient for students to go here and have a semi healthier cheap lunch. 

3. When relying on my apartment complex to be able to print out something important for school but the printer isn’t working which causes me to be late to class.

• This bug exists because the apartment complex never orders enough ink for the printers

4. At any time of the day, the lines at Walmart by Butler Plaza are not only extremely long but extremely slow 

• This bug exists because there are too many customers for the number of cashier lines that are open

5. When there is a bus stop from my apartment complex, The Nine, but there is no bus that returns to my apartment. 

• This bug exists because the apartment complex has not purchased a bus stop right in front of the apartment complex

6. Since the past few days of Gainesville being really cold, I look forward to really hot showers but the water doesn’t get hot enough like it usually does. 

• This bug exists because I am not the only one wanting to take a hot shower and my other roommates took all the hot water. 

7. When no one was home in the month of December and still somehow the electricity bill was higher than when we all are actually living here. 

• This bug exists because either the electricity company is scamming us or the meter isn’t reading correctly. 

8. When I receive an email saying my package has been delivered but when I go downstairs to pick it up from the front desk and they say they don’t have it. 

• This bug exists because the USPS delivery person delivered to the wrong apartment complex. 

9. When my MacBook won’t load and its too slow so it starts to frustrate me. 

• This bug exists because my computer is about seven years old

10. When I go to my gym in my apartment complex and the guys load them with extremely heavy weights and do not remove it when they’re done and I can’t carry the weights off the machine. 

• This bug exists because guys get too lazy to put back the weights. 

11. When there’s only one water fountain in the hallway at Turlington and the water filter is on red and so then I cannot drink water when I am extremely thirsty 

• This bug exists because the person who changes the filter has yet to change it. 

12. When I go to the West library and there’s not one single chair available for me to use.

• This bug exists because all students decide to go at a popular time around 1 pm and cause there to not be enough seats.  

13. When I go to the restroom in the Journalism school and someone does not flush. 

• This bug exists because people forget to flush somehow. 

14. When people at the gym in my apartment complex stay on a machine for 20+ minutes and they’re on their phone the whole time not even using it. 

• This bug exists because people get distracted on their phone and don’t end up doing what they are supposed to do 

15. When I go to the fridge to pour myself some water but the Brita is empty and I get no water. 

• This bug exists because my roommates forget to refill the Brita after poring themselves some water. 

16. When busses do not stop by Marston even though there is a pedestrian crosswalk and causes them to nearly run you over. 

• This bug exists because busses get impatient from all the students crossing the streets 

17. When students in my classes start packing up as the professor is explaining something

• This bug exists because they’re in a rush to go somewhere or they are simply rude. 

18. When I order UberEats and they forget to put the dressing for the side salad in the bag

• This bug happens they probably forgot to make sure everything was inside the bag. 

19. When I am using the Rider app to track the bus and all of a sudden it says “No prediction” and I can’t track where the bus is anymore

• This bug happens because there was some error in the app that caused it to say no prediction 

20. When my AirPods don’t connect when I am trying to use it for a phone call. 

• This bug occurs because my phone’s Bluetooth won’t recognize my Airpods. 

Challenges

As you mentioned, once I hit five bugs it suddenly became difficult to come up with more. But I took the advice of writing down 3-5 things that bug me throughout the day. That’s when I started to realize the little things that bugged me throughout the day that sometimes I don’t put too much thought into but it really did bug me. This assignment was slightly difficult because you don’t really process the little things that bug you that make a slight inconvenience throughout your day.
